NEW HAMPSHIRE LEGAL SERVICES AGENCIESLegal Advice & Referral Center (LARC) Legal Advice and Referral Center is a legal services program providing advice and counsel over the telephone to financially eligible callers in family law, housing law, and public benefits. New Hampshire Legal Assistance (NHLA) New Hampshire Legal Assistance provides direct legal assistance in matters involving health care, public and private housing, food stamps, welfare, unemployment compensation, utility shut-off, nursing home problems, and domestic violence cases. Legal Services of the New Hampshire Bar Association The New Hampshire Bar Association has several legal services programs designed to provide assistance to low and moderate income people with legal problems across a wide range of issues. New Hampshire Public Defender The Public Defender's Office provides legal representation to individuals charged with homicides, felonies, misdemeanors, and juvenile deliquency. Franklin Pierce Law Center's Clinical Programs Pierce Law's clinical programs provide experiential learning which prepares students for their life beyond the Law Center. Disabilities Rights Center The Disabilities Rights Center is New Hampshire's designated Protection and Advocacy agency and is authorized to pursue legal, administrative and other appropriate remedies on behalf of individuals with disabilities.
